Professional Application: A greater appreciation for the evolution of the union and its inception into the New York State workforce became increasingly more understood. Additionally, the Sag Harbor contract impasse of 2009 with Empire BlueCross and Hospital Alliance afforded me a chance to see how even with "reasonable proposals in front of them," an agreement can be stalled and require court intervention.
