COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP
9821 Community Relations
Professor: Dr. Inserra
Summer I 2012
Professional Application: Through this course I was presented with a recommendation to review Tom Short's dissertation. The purpose of study and literature aligned with my level of interest and future plans for research. Additionally, a greater appreciation for the need to embrace community input was internalized.
Related Literature:
An understanding of how decisions are made in the community , what long term challenges exist, what the community expectations are for the school through the identification of pro and con groups allowing all voices to be heard is essential. These important questions are approaches to develop better cooperative relations with the public.
"Remember to always ask the question at the highest level desired." --Albert Inserra
